What happened?

In the ServiceNow Next (Redesign of service now 1.0) the addin does not work properly

Steps to reproduce

1. Open ServiceNow Next
2. Open a ticket and type in "Test"
3. The word suggestion should appear, but it does not

Workaround:

1. Open ServiceNow Next
2. Open a specific ticket
3. Manually disable and re-enable the add-in
4. Enter ‘Test’
5. Suggestions appear, but are cut off and almost not usuable

The same behaviour also occurs when switching to ‘Additional comments’ or ‘Email’

Expected behavior

The Addin should work as in the current service now version

Actual behavior

In ServiceNow Next, it only works if you manually re-enable the add-in. Unfortunately, it's still not working properly.

Important note addins are disabled that may affect the FLuentTyper AddIn.

Thanks for the report. To debug and fix this, I need access to a page where I can reproduce the issue. I don’t currently have access to ServiceNow or ServiceNow Next.

Could you please provide one of the following?

• a publicly accessible demo or test page that uses the same ServiceNow Next ticket editor,
• temporary access to a non-sensitive test ServiceNow instance (please do not post credentials publicly), or
• another publicly available page where the same issue can be reproduced.

Without access to a reproducible page, I can’t inspect the editor’s DOM/input behavior, investigate why FluentTyper only starts working after being re-enabled, or verify the suggestion popup positioning.

Unfortunately, I am unable to do this as I am using the tool unofficially and do not have administrator privileges to share company content with you.

Thanks for the link. The chances that I’ll request a ServiceNow developer account are close to zero. Unless there is significantly more demand from the community, I don’t plan to do so, to be honest, I have better ways to spend my personal time. 🙂

My previous comment still stands: if you can provide a public demo or test page where the issue can be reproduced, I’ll take a look.
