Panel crashes due to unknown NetworkManager device(?)

Here are the errors I get, the panel simply crashes shortly after starting up:

Note this is a temporary system state, might not be easily reproducible (at least, I don't know how to do that)

I also failed to reproduce in gdb: it seems to be a race condition, in gdb the app is likely just a bit slower and the bug is never hit. When starting from the terminal, it happens sometimes, but sometimes doesn't crash.

The unknown device type, if memory serves, is just a warning that we've decided to skip a device from considerations, the crash would be elsewhere.
