Dependent field not working on EDIT page ?

It seems that Dependent Field doesn't work when the value is already known : In EDIT page, the select is filled with the values depending of the value in the "depend of" field but the value already known of the field is not automatically selected

Do you confirm or am I wrong? Dependent field works only on "NEW" page, to create a new record with no already known values ?

Bump for maintainers? Was already digging through the code, but I'm not frontend savvy enough

I had a similar issue - I used the #[AdminAction] attribute + AdminUrlGenerator to set the callback url, which resulted in a faulty query string with two ? characters.

After switching to UrlGeneratorInterface, it started showing the correct value.

However, I had to set fetch_on_init to false, though. So the list is not properly filtered on the EDIT page.
