From dec755a35d9dc82fe04e58152817e84086bd922e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Maciej Myszkiewicz Date: Sun, 11 Oct 2026 10:15:23 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] ci: macos-13 no longer exists, so the release never published MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit GitHub retired the Intel macOS image in December 2025. A job asking for that label does not fail, it queues, and the release job waits on it — so the first tag produced no release and no error either. Both macOS targets build on the arm64 runner now. Cross-compiling x86_64 from arm64 needs only the target, which the toolchain action already installs. --- .github/workflows/release.yml | 6 +++++- 1 file changed, 5 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/.github/workflows/release.yml b/.github/workflows/release.yml index ecd6204..f487cb3 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/release.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/release.yml @@ -23,7 +23,11 @@ jobs: include: - os: ubuntu-latest target: x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu - - os: macos-13 + # Both macOS targets on the arm64 runner: macos-13 was the Intel image and + # GitHub retired it in December 2025, so that label no longer resolves and a job + # asking for it queues until it is cancelled.
