Step-by-step instructions to install on Ubuntu?

I have not succeeded to install on Ubuntu 26.04. Current instructions are outdated.
Detailed step-by-step instructions would be very welcome.

What do you mean by "your/project" ? What should be in there? Can you provide a worked example?

Also, the first step "npm install -g opencode-rag-plugin" should be done as root or sudo but you have forgotten to mention that.
On Linux, Ubuntu, I get:

npm warn install-scripts
