can no longer use bluetooth

Describe the Bug

After running it seams i can no longer use bluetooth, i even undid changes and yet windows still says device dosnt have bluetooth.

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. run tweaks or enable/uninstall apps
2. undo changes

First, let's check what's going on

Run these in PowerShell (as admin):

# See if Windows can see your Bluetooth hardware
Get-PnpDevice | Where-Object {$_.Class -eq "Bluetooth"} | Format-Table Name, Status, Class -AutoSize

Quick Fix

Try this first - it fixes most cases:

1. Open PowerShell as admin and run:

# Get Bluetooth working again
Set-Service -Name "BTAGService" -StartupType Automatic
Set-Service -Name "bthserv" -StartupType Automatic
Start-Service -Name "BTAGService"
Start-Service -Name "bthserv"

2. Restart your PC

Still no luck? Let's try something more thorough.

The Nuclear Option

If the quick fix didn't work, this usually does the trick:

1. Open PowerShell as admin again
2. Copy/paste this:

# Stop Bluetooth
Stop-Service -Name "BTAGService", "bthserv" -Force

# Clean out the old stuff
Remove-Item -Path "HKLM:\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BTHPORT\Parameters\Devices" -Recurse -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue
Remove-Item -Path "HKLM:\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BTHPORT\Parameters\Keys" -Recurse -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue

# Start it back up
Start-Service -Name "BTAGService", "bthserv"

3. Restart your PC again

If You're Still Stuck

A few more things to try:

1. Check Device Manager

   • Hit Windows+X and pick "Device Manager"
   • Look under Bluetooth for anything with a yellow triangle
   • Right-click your Bluetooth adapter → Uninstall device
   • Restart your PC

2. If that doesn't work, try this in PowerShell (admin):

pnputil /scan-devices

Still No Bluetooth?

Drop a comment with:

• What Bluetooth adapter you have (check Device Manager)
• Did Bluetooth ever work before the debloat?
• Does the Bluetooth icon show up in your taskbar at all?
