Hey, you guys planning on moving this repo into the official DeepseekHQ? #28

Worth clearing up the premise first: this is not a DeepSeek repo and never was. It is an independent, MIT-licensed community frontend published under HengQuWorld (publisher id It is also not a beta of anything: it is a released extension with its own changelog and release cadence (0.9.2 at the time of writing, against engine v0.10.2). The relationship with upstream CodeWhale is deliberate and documented on both sides — the extension is a thin GUI over the engine's local runtime API, it bundles no engine and duplicates no agent logic, upstream's README points at it as the VS Code surface while keeping the app and the extension outside its repository. That split is what lets the engine ship without a frontend release, and the frontend ship without an engine release. On migrating into the upstream org: I don't currently see a reason to. The split is doing its job, and the GUI moves on a different clock than the engine. That said, I would rather hear the case than assume it — if you see something the current arrangement costs you, as a user or as a contributor, tell me what it is. Nothing is ruled out. |

Are you waiting on more testing and development to move this over, is this a test in beta? Is migration planned eventually, please explain.
