Clarification needed on contradictory information regarding conditions #60

@genasky

Description

@genasky

I am officially requesting a clarification on which source of information I should trust, as I have found four major contradictions in your official resources:

  1. The Pricing Page (Marketing Promise): According towindsurf.com/pricing, SWE-1.6 is listed as 'Free to use' for all users. This suggests no token costs for this model.

  2. The Model Table (Direct Contradiction): In your official documentation atdocs.windsurf.com/windsurf/models#self-serve, SWE-1.6 is clearly assigned a price ($0.30 per 1M tokens for input and $1.50 for output). This contradicts the 'Free' status mentioned on the pricing page.

  3. The Status of SWE-1.5: The same documentation table shows SWE-1.5 as a model with no cost (marked with dashes). This aligns with your previous support message stating that SWE-1.5 is 'Free for all users'.

  4. The JetBrains Plugin (Actual Behavior): Despite the documentation saying SWE-1.5 is free and available, it is completely missing or unselectable in the WebStorm plugin. At the same time, the 'Usage' panel in my account tells me to 'Upgrade to Pro' to use premium models, effectively locking SWE-1.5 behind a paywall.

My Question: Which information is authoritative?

Is SWE-1.6 truly free as per the pricing page, or paid as per the documentation table?

Is SWE-1.5 truly free as per support and the table, and if so, why is it blocked in the IDE?

The lack of synchronization between your website, your pricing table, your documentation, and your IDE plugin is making it impossible to manage my workflow efficiently. Please provide a definitive answer.
