+ELIXIR Norway invites life science researchers to a hands-on [Galaxy](/services/galaxy) workshop at the University of Bergen on Thursday 12 November 2026, from 09:00 to 16:00. The workshop takes place in the Stort auditorium at Høyteknologisenteret.
+
+Galaxy is an open, web-based platform for data-intensive biology, and [usegalaxy.no](https://usegalaxy.no) is the national Galaxy instance, operated as part of the Norwegian e-infrastructure for life sciences. During the workshop, participants will learn to run analyses and build reusable workflows on usegalaxy.no, with guidance from experienced instructors.

+The workshop is free of charge and will be held in English. Participants should bring their own laptop.

+No programming experience is needed. The workshop is aimed at life science researchers who want to get started with reproducible, workflow-based analysis of their data. Lunch is provided.
