Unreadable text in dark mode

This is one of the drawbacks of WinForms; there's so much you can do with it to make it look modern using nothing but standard controls.

That being true, shouldn't light mode be forced on as default so that everyone can read the interface? Dark mode is not much use if you cannot see what you're doing. If I am an edge case, I am happy to run any tests you may have? Thanks

The program defaults to getting the system's color scheme on Windows 10 and 11. So if it's set to dark, it uses dark mode, and light mode otherwise.

And no, you're not an edge case.

I understand that. I'm suggesting it is the wrong action to take on the basis dark mode users will be unable to use the app because they won't see what they're doing.
