Can't enable extension on M1 Mac

I have attempted to install the extension on a M1 MacBook running Visual Studio Prerelease. I have downloaded the latest package from this GitHub but, when I install from a file I never get prompted to paste my API code and the plugin remains disabled.

No, unfortunately I just had to stop using the plugin..
