Unable to satisfy dependencies while upgrade AnduinOS 1.4.2 > 2.0.x (x >= 1)

AnduinOS 1.4.2 do_anduinos_upgrade at present (which attempts to go to 2.0.3) triggers the below issue for me:

E: Unable to satisfy dependencies. Reached two conflicting assignments:

The upgrade yields a broken system even following the emergency recovery suggestions.

I have done an do_anduinos_upgrade to AnduinOS (2.0.0) earlier without any major issue hence I assume the conflict arises with AnduinOS >= 2.0.1 only.

Any idea how to fix or bypass the upgrade issue?

I wonder if there is any method to offline upgrade AnduinOS to a specific version to further isolate the issue.

Note: I had to add --allow-change-held-packages to both command in addtion

After reboot, to fix a missing AnduinOS ArcMenu button icon, I did:

dconf write /org/gnome/shell/extensions/arcmenu/menu-button-icon "'/usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/arcmenu@arcmenu.com/icons/anduinos-logo.svg'"

The system seems to be fine.

Thank you for reporting this, and I’m sorry the upgrade left your system in a broken state. This was our bug: after moving to Dracut, the 1.4→2.0 upgrade script still requested the conflicting initramfs-tools package.

I just pushed a fix to the 1.4 branch. Dependency checks pass. Your workaround took the right approach—installing Dracut and removing the conflicting packages.
