anchor 100% taskbar to the left?

I don't know why, but I am unable to make the taskbar fill the entire bottom of the screen AND be anchored on the left side. Either I anchor it left and have a dynamic taskbar, or I set its length to 100% and can't select the anchor position.

Is this a bug or a feature... or am I just being dumb?

Running 2.x or 1.x?

If running 2.x, can you just try resetting desktop factory default?

I found my issue. I was right clicking the taskbar and choosing Taskbar Settings and trying to set it from there. I didn't realize that "Appearance" on that menu was different that the "Appearance" page in settings so I didn't look at it.
